English Literature on the Web

This site is a collection of web resources for English Literature such as:  British and American authors.  Also it includes information on Medieval and Anglo-Saxon, and 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th Century literature styles.

High School Literary Sites

This site focuses on high school appropriate literature web sites that offer information on specific works, electronic texts, short stories, general literature sites, and much more. 

IPL Online Literary Criticism

"IPL Online Literary Criticism contains 3810 critical and biographical web sites that can be browsed by author, by title,  by nationality, and literary period."

LitFinder LPL

LitFinder offers two indexes poemfinder an index to poems in anthologies with links to many poems in full-text. Also, a storyfinder with full-text short stories plus explanations and biographies. Library Subscription, available for use within City of La Crosse libraries.

Literary History

Luminarium is a collection of literary works that represent three time periods:  Medieval, Renaissance, and 17th Century.

Perspectives in American Literature

Perspectives in American Literature is a collection of research and reference guides on American authors that are broken down into literary periods from the early 1700s to the late 20th Century.  There are special categories for the Harlem Renaissance and America drama.
